Dr. David F. Cechetto
Chairperson
Prof. Dr. David Cechetto is a Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University, and the Director of the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Rwanda Project. Dr. Cechetto received his Master’s Degree from the University of Ottawa.
Esperance Uwamariya
Program expert
Ms. Esperance Uwamariya works for the British Council in Rwanda for over nine years and worked for VSO for over 5 years as Global Education Country Coordinator and served as Orphan and Venerable Children programs Manager at Mercy Ministries International.
Bosco Johnson RUKUNDO
Economic Empowerment Expert
Johnson Bosco Rukundo is an Economist trained from Jönköping University-Sweden for a Ph.D. and holds a master’s degree in Economics (Economic Policy Management from Makerere University (Uganda) as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the former National University of Rwanda.

Fundraising mobilization
Alain Mugabo has considerable experience within the last 16 years serving mainly in finance, operations support, logistics, and procurement roles in the private and international nonprofit organizations.
Staff
In accordance with the Law No. 04/2012 of 17 /02/2012 Governing the Organization and Functioning of National Non-Governmental Organizations, WEA governance is assigned to the following organs; The General Assembly, an Executive Board, an Audit Committee as well as a Conflict Resolution Committee.
The secretariat that is in charge of the day-to-day activities of the organization is headed by the Executive Director.
